How are eyelashes measured?
The example used use is a C 0.25 x 14.
0.25 is 0.25mm (1/4 of a millimetre) and 14 is the length in millimetres.
As seen in the picture, a 14mm lash measures 10mm curled. To get an accurate measurement it has to be straightened first.
The lash thickness is measured near the base with a digital caliper.
Each new batch of lashes we receive are measured before being sold so you can be assured of receiving the correct length you have ordered.

About our Loose Lashes
Our Loose Lashes are made from Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) materials which are light and flexible with a fine sheen. They have micro pores in the surface to help lash glue bond well. The PBT will also melt slightly when in contact with the Adhesive to produce a stronger bond.
Loose lashes are hand made which leads to some inconsistency in length and curl. Every 1/2 gram bag of lashes will contain some variation in size, for example a bag of 11mm will contain lashes that are from 10.5 to 11.5mm in length. To get varied selection of lashes you should order say 9 - 11 - 13 and not 9 -10 -11 -12 -13 as both 10 and 11mm will have some 10.5mm making it difficult for you to appreciate the difference.
The same should be considered with the Curl, take a J or C and the difference will be clear. Sometimes taking a B and C it will be difficult to tell them apart. Unlike the length there isn't a set definition of the exact radius of each curl, it falls to the manufacturer to produce lashes that are in their opinion correct. Every batch of lashes we receive are examined and matched to a set curl and length so that we can as near as possible offer you the best quality and precise size of lash possible. If the small variation troubles you, strip lashes are generally produced by machine and are more consistent.
